Looks good. IMO "settings" should be expanded by default and no additional
info about empty queue isn't needed (but would be nice :) ).

- size settings

1. You have to remember about shortcut. I have always problem with that
and only really often used things I can remember...
2. When you're starting with program small "+" icon is really useful and
doesn't force you to dig all the menus.

well... it look like some race-conditions between: select image, read exif
and reading the image.
I know - that conclusion won't help much ;)
