I'm running Razor2 with SA 2.55 and I keep getting timed out errors when spamd attempts to call razor.
Anyone else have some troubleshooting tips, or a suggestions at how I can increase the timeout value just in case it's taking longer than 10 seconds?
Really a SA question, however from man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf for SA 2.60 (This option works in 2.5x, and many older versions as well):
razor_timeout n (default: 10)
How many seconds you wait for razor to complete before
you go on without the resultsso just add "razor_timeout 20" to /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf
OT side note: if you're going to be running old versions such as SA 2.55, make sure you disable the OSIRUSOFT rules.. that RBL is now down, and has blacklisted all IP addresses to encourage people to stop using it. If you need more info on non-razor related SA config, follow up on spamassassin-talk or in private as this is OT for this list.
