Are the servers overloaded? Would another help?

Just from watching the behavior of razor, yes they are a bit overloaded at times.

However, from my understanding of the razor system, mirroring the razor servers at another site won't help.. the network load of transferring the razor database alone would negate the benefits. Because razor has a CF system that's highly dynamic, updates of any mirrors would have to be very near to realtime == high traffic.

Unless an off-site mirror could take a lot of load off the system, it would hurt more than help.

Now if you wanted to donate hardware to go to their location, that I'm sure cloudmark would be happy to talk about :)

(who's gonna refuse an extra server? :)

Speaking of donations, has Cloudmark ever considered setting up a donation system for the free razor users? I know they've asked some of the VERY heavy razor users (ie: the giant isp size organizations) to help with cost, but some of us small fries might want to make voluntary contributions to the cause of supporting the costs of razor hardware/etc.
