Hi,

I'm curious about spam apps. In trying to get a better understanding of how
some of the apps are designed/work, I came across "Razor"/Cloudmark. In
doing some basic Google/research, I came across the razor app and I'm trying
to get an answer to some basic questions...

My basic question has to do with the database for spam that is used with the
"Spamnet/Razor" client apps. Is the database "Open Source"? Is there
available code for that, or is the database proprietaryclosed/owned by
Cloudmark? Also, is it possible for someone to write another client that
would talk with the underlying database, or is that prohibited by either
license/technical understanding...

If someone could give me a reasonable understanding for my questions, I'd be
greatful! As I said, I'm just curious about how some of these apps work.

Thanks,

Bruce Douglas
