Hi There,

Been having massive issues with our WHMCS mails ending up in spam folders.

We have the usual (SPF,DKIM,DMARC,AUTH) enabled via cPanel.

I've finally found the cause and I believe this relates to the fact that we were victim of a pretty large email spoofing scam a few months back:

Just Google "quickhostuk spoof"

Now it now seems our WHMCS standard email templates checksum is listed at SpamAssassin RAZOR2_CHECK.

I've tested this by sending from our usual WHMCS address via SMTP and mail is testing OK. Then sending a welcome mail (for example) from WHMCS and mail tests show its listed and delivered to spam folder:

https://www.mail-tester.com/web-50an7M

Here you will see a blank email template that just says "test" with the standard WHMCS themeing on it.

===
-0.365 RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_51_100 Razor2 gives confidence level above 50%
-2.43 RAZOR2_CF_RANGE_E8_51_100 Razor2 gives engine 8 confidence level above 50%

 -1.729 RAZOR2_CHECK Listed in Razor2 (http://razor.sf.net/)

I was wondering if you had any ideas at all on a work around on this? as changing all of the email templates would be a headache and we really like the standard WHMCS email templates. Really hoping your experience in the industry can point us in the right direction.

Many Thanks.

Kind Regards,

Kevin M
