Hi Albert

 

Don’t know if this is related but one of the programs I use was severely 
affected by the recent Windows security update MS16-035 to their .net framework 
on all currently supported Windows O/S.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RBG95_64 Freezing Up

 

In Report and Form Designers, my RBG95_64 system will freeze up, running under 
Win 10 Pro, forcing a shutdown from the Task Manager. This has been happening 
frequently over the last week or so. I have not had any problems prior to this 
hassle. In an attempt to stabilize the system:

*       Excluded directory RBTI and all sub folders from Panda Antivirus and 
Malwarebytes.
*       Ran CHKDSK on the drive and allowed it to optimize
*       Restarted the system
*       Turned off Offline folder synchronization
*       UNLOADed and RELOADed the database. 
*       Turned off Form and Report Compression. 

Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas welcomed.
