It is now 7:48 PM and I have been working on the same form and reports since the last post to the list. Everything worked as it should; no hiccups, no freezing. Simple solution but not the easiest to track down. I just knew it wasn't RBTI's problem. It is just another annoying M$ problem, but at least the solution is simple enough.

I appear to have resolved the freezing option.
I have set my Win 10 Pro system to run RBG95_64 in compatibility mode.

I have had this issue, but it always seemed very related to how complicated the screen being created was and when I last saved. Screens with 20-30 items have never been a problem. We also have some dense, multi item checklists with text, checkboxes, titles, notes and other screen items. Saving regularly seems to avoid the screen freeze entirely, particularly with complicated screens.

*Subject:* [RBASE-L] - RBG95_64 Freezing Up

In Report and Form Designers, my RBG95_64 system will freeze up, running under Win 10 Pro, forcing a shutdown from the Task Manager. This has been happening frequently over the last week or so. I have not had any problems prior to this hassle. In an attempt to stabilize the system:

  * Excluded directory RBTI and all sub folders from Panda Antivirus
    and Malwarebytes.
  * Ran CHKDSK on the drive and allowed it to optimize
  * Restarted the system
  * Turned off Offline folder synchronization
  * UNLOADed and RELOADed the database.
  * Turned off Form and Report Compression.

Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas welcomed.
