Version: R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 64-bit on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
What value should be returned with the (CVAL('PRN_status')) function?
Is this only for the current default printer? What if it's a network
printer?
What I need is to be able to check the status of a selected printer to
make sure it's available before I print a report to it.
I tried this:
set var VPRN_STATUS = (CVAL('PRN_status'))
R>show var vprn%
Variable = Value Type
------------------ ------------------------------ -------
VPRN_STATUS = -0- TEXT
Other PRN_????? Options return various values.
