We are using RBASE 9.5. This morning our office personnel were working in RBASE when at shortly after 9:00 central RBASE no longer allowed anyone to connect to the application. All applications target the server location. The message is Cannot start the application. [cid:[email protected]] I tried connect to directly to the RBASE files with my shortcut and received this message. The database is currently unavailable - it is probably open with MULTI set OFF. [cid:[email protected]]
However the same backup copy of the DB on my C drive That I transferred over to the server on Friday after a rebuild has the proper MULTI settings and I can have multiple connections. I connected to the server DB with RSCOPE and ran checks on all three areas Database info, structure and Data with no errors. Some questions: 1) Is there a file RBASE creates outside of the DB anywhere on a computer that would show us errors? 2) Would there be a WINDOWS error message folder that would have this information? 3) Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try next?
