Good morning, I am upgrading my current virtual window 2012 server for RBASE. I am making this a standalone windows 2019 sever. This is the critical application and runs our entire company. We have 35 users. We will be using remote desktop application to access the compiled application and data. The only other applications would be Veeam for backups and maybe Symantec?
I am looking to buy a dell PowerEdge T440 CPU ( I am not sure if two CPU would help?) Is this enough memory? Will dual CPU's make a difference? Raid 10 is expensive but down time is unacceptable. I have read that it is no longer best practices to keep the operating system on a separate raid disk? thoughts?
