You can get a column value without a PROPERTY command by defining a variable expression. In Form Designer, click variables at the top of the R:Base window, click Add/Edit Variables. Define a variable, give it the datatype that matches the column datatype and in the Expression window, enter the column name. If it's a multi-table form, be sure you've specified the correct table in the lower-right corner of the Expression Builder window.

The variable will have the column value for the current row.
Test by locating a variable label for that variable name and scrolling up and down the rows.

Looking for a way to grab the value of a specific column in a dbgrid with a GetProperty command,
but doesn't look like there is a way to do that.
Am I missing something?
