I have an older, dos based, R:Base powered accounting program with the source code that came in different modules on diskettes. The name of the accounting package was "Flex Accounting" by Capstone Computing. John with R:base thought the developer was Richard Reed? After doing some cleaning I found these diskettes copied them onto a thumb drive. However a few of the critical diskette's would not "read". There are 2 files on each diskette, one named source.exe and operate.exe. The programmer was from Seattle, Washington I believe and think he may no longer be with us. Has anyone heard of this accounting program or have the files for it? I was thinking about sending them to a data recovery service and am afraid I could further damage my chances of getting the files if I tried to "repair" the diskettes. Anyone that may have a copy like mine would be of great assistance. Thanks in advance. My end goal is to convert to Windows and use for my business.
