Hi folks, my laptop running Win7 and R:base 2000 ver 6.5 recently died after a stellar 20 year run. My new laptop runs Win10 and ver 6.5 doesn't seem to want to run on it. My computer guy has set up Win7 in a virtual machine but the performance is haphazard. Questions for you: Can anything be done to get 6.5 running on Win10? I have tried the compatibility mode to no avail. Will Rbase 7.5 run on Win10? I have a copy that i have never loaded.
