I have noticed that many times when McAfee finds a virus, it will ask you if you want to clean the file, If you answer YES, it will say "unable to clean the file, do you want to delete the file?" you answer YES and it will say "unable to delete file, do you want to quarantine file? you answer YES and then it will quarantine the file. Afterwards you can go and either Clean or Delete the quarantined file without any problems.

Whenever you see a virus warning with obvious grammatical errors and mis-spellings such as this, the odds are that it is a dangerous e-mail. If Norton or MacAfee suspect the virus, it is there, in all but remote cases. Personally I do not quaranteen, I delete, which is what I have my Norton set to. In cases where the virus is included, the attachment will not open, because Norton has killed it before it could do anything. I also run ZoneAlarm PRO, which notifies me when anything attempts to access the web. If an attachment attempts to access the web, ZA opens a little "do you really..." window. I say NO, and tick the "Remember this answer next time" box. my $0.03 cents worth (I'm in Canada at the moment: C$0.03 = US$0.02) -- Albert Berry Full Time Consultant to PSD Solutions 350 West Hubbard, Suite 210 Chicago, IL 60610 312-828-9253 Ext. 32 __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
