I just finished upgrading 6.5++ DOS without any problems in a Windows 98SE
machine. When I tried to do it from a separate directory, it told me it
found the Rbase files on the desktop, I cancelled the installation, copied
the file to the c:\RBTI\RBDOS65 and it worked fine from there, you may have
to use "RBDOSU~1.exe if you are running a pure DOS system. Personally. the
only reason I still use the DOS version is because RBDEFINE allows me to
reorder the columns in a table, something that I cannot do in 6.5++ Windows.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Can't install inline DOS Patch 6.5++ ?

My attempt to upgrade 6.5++ DOS on my personal computer failed.

1st the RbDOSupdate.exe is not a DOS file name
with 12345678.123 format!

It seems to want to run in Windows

2nd The error message:

ERROR
     Cannot find Installation Information.
           Update Process Aborted.
                     OK
