Forms
My client just discovered the
problem!
He had been downloading all patches
and updates to Windows XP.
When he reversed a patch downloaded
on December 12, the problem went away.
The name of the download
was: Windows
XP Service Pack 1
Just wanted to let everyone know in
case this comes up for you.

Subject: [RBASE-L] -
WRAP on Forms
I have not been keeping up with the
list messages lately so if this has been covered recently please someone let me
know where to look.
I have a client who was not
having problems with his R:Base Application (Ver 6.5 +) until he moved it
to a new computer running Windows XP.
The problem is that all the forms,
that used to WRAP text on the screen automatically, now will not wrap.
When Ctrl-Enter is used he gets double rectangular symbols but no wrap.
He can continue to type but cannot see what is being typed.
However, when the data appears on a
printed report the text is all there and if Auto Expand has been selected for
the field, the data does wrap where Ctrl-Enter was used.
SET WRAP ON has been done.
Is there another setting that needs
to be changed somewhere?
Is there a problem with using R:Base
with Windows XP?
