JM, When I had a problem with an earlier beta going back to an even earlier beta caused me no problems for testing purposes. (And don't get caught trying to use new commands and spend ages wondering why they don't work!!)
As always, make sure you have data backups and - possibly/probably - be prepared to re-install R:Base when you've finished to ensure everything is the correct version. Hi all, I did install RBW6.5++ (1.862xRT03) in Dec 2002 and I wish to return back to 1.851 for tests purposes I kept a backup of the directory where RBW is installed (currently \RBTI\RBW65) so I can restore it ... But what about the changes in the Windows register DB (if any) ? And about the files copied in the WINDOWS directory (RBW65*.MSG and may be others ....) ? Will a DB upgraded in 1.862 keep working with a older version ? What about CMD files (codelocked) ? Thanks for any help, J.M. GRATIAS, Logimatique
