It could be done with a reporting program such as VSView which I worked with on Oterro project. It supports subreports nicely. I don't own VSView, however. So it would be hard to sell them on VB/VSView when they already have Access, it probably could do this report, and they would have people there that could maintain it once created. I have no idea what HTA is (see, my VB skills are not up to par). I have written complicated reports from VB direct to Excel spreadsheets from an RBase database, and gave that as an option, but again it would be tons of VB code that the client would be unable to change on their own (they're dabblers, hate the thought of getting something that they would be trapped into having a consultant maintain). That's why they have RBase in the first place! Karen
