One, of the many, reasons that this list is so good is that there are so many people willing to help and show others what's missing or wrong or another way or...
Re-reading the R:Syntax on TRACE I can see, with hindsight, that you could use it in a command file but, judging by other responses, I'm not the only one who didn't realise it. A couple of times in the past I've thought about posting my "little trick" with "Trace_Break" but thought it was too stupid an idea to be of use to anybody. I was right but, thanks to Ben, the "correct" way to do the same thing is shown for everybody who didn't know it to pick up on. It's such a huge advance for me that my embarrassment was well worth it and just goes to show that no question or comment is too silly to post as there's always someone who knows a solution - and nobody saw my red face! Thanks again Ben, Regards, Alastair. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben Petersen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "RBASE-L Mailing List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 20, 2003 6:26 AM Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Crashing > > On 20 Feb 2003, at 0:23, Alastair Burr wrote: > > > I suppose something like: DEBUG TRACE works as well? > > Actually that's how I first started using it and somewhere along the > line dropped debug...
