Hi all,

A few days ago, I reported issues after having installed my standard RBW
app on a W2K SP3 PC.

Yesterday, I visited an other client that is also moving to W2K and that
use the same standard app ....
As you can imagine I was very anxious and uncomfortable ....
And it works like a charm !

So, I attempt to find the differences between those 2 cases : may be it
could help to understand and locate the problem :

Both clients use W2K SP3
Same RBW 6.5++ (build 1.851xRT03)
Same app, same DB structure, same Forms, Reports, Views ...
Datas are differents (of course).

Client 1 (where I have problems) :
PC is assembled (no mark).
128 Mb RAM
RBW and app are installed on the server

Client 2 (where it works OK) :
PC is a new COMPAQ/HP EVO 510.
256 Mb RAM
Everything is installed on the local drive (C:)

The main difference seems to be the RAM ....
Is there a way to reduce temporarily the RAM of client 2 to 128 Mb ?
Just to see what happen ....
I can't open the box (I am pretty sure that the 256 Mb RAM is on a single
chip ...)

Any idea ?

TIA,
