Razzak,
Once you've got more time after the conference & launch of v7 perhaps you could do one of your "From The Edge" missives on the subject of special/accented characters?
In Dos it seemed fairly straight-forward but I still tried to avoid using them if at all possible. In Windows there _appears_ to be much more that can affect the results (3 to 4 digit codes for one thing).
Also, I've never noticed any case folding/collating tables in the database backup file (produced from the backup command). Do these appear _only_ if there are changes made in the rbase.cfg or is this some internal mechanism that depends on the changed .cfg file being available & correct?
Alastair,
TTBOMK, that is the internal mechanism managed by the engine and among the settings saved with the database.
(PS: have you any response yet to my private e-mail to you about mdi forms?)
Albert Berry (Authorized R:BASE Developer) is presenting a very impressive topic (Using MDI Forms in a Complex Scheduling Module) at the 5th Annual R:BASE Developers' Conference. His entire presentation is based on MDI Forms.

All presentation topics along with demo products are going to be on the 2003 Conference CD, to be available after the conference. You may need to pre-order this one-of-a-kind CD.
Very Best Regards,
