Steve, Alastair,

I have made it a habit to NEVER include a reserved word in a file name. I have had some intermittent flaky results when using those words, especially when a typo sneaks into my code.

Just my $.02

I don't know either, Steve - I had hoped that more people might have said something, one way or the other, so that some sort of conclusion could be drawn - but maybe nobody else has (noticed if they have) a path or file name that contains a reserved word.

On one hand I can't see why it should make any difference but on the other I can half-understand that it might. I don't think it really matters either way - as long it's documented if it does matter.
