I find the tail-end of this particular Rule quite interesting. Given the fact that almost every employer makes a valiant effort to make all of your time their time, this is becoming more difficult, and therefore, the work-force is facing burn-out and dissatisfaction in dramatically increasing numbers. Hence, employer loyalty is at an all-time low as demonstrated by the fact that the national average has people changing jobs every 3-5 years. How do employers expect their employees to be free from personal obligations when they walk through the door if they are given little or no time to resolve them outside of the workplace? Even if Mr. Gates was not the author of the comments, I find it interesting that he was linked to them given his notorious reputation for attempting to control every aspect of his employee's lives. A wise person recognizes two separate entities...Career and Life. Make sure not to confuse the two. Curious for other's thoughts on this issue. Mike
