I couldn't agree more with you on that statement.

On the flip side, though, is Bill Gates the role model for America's youth? While he is
probably better than most money squandering professional athletes that have captivated
most kids, I do not personally believe that teaching your child to become a ruthless and
cut-throat business person who is driven by an out of control ego and a quest for the
almighty dollar while having no regard for the human aspect of business is a good thing
either.


My opinion is to create a reasonable balance and immortalize no single person. Parents
should be their children's role models, not people who they will never know.


Therefore the burden of responsibility is with the parents, and not the "heros" that we
push children to become.
