Wait a minute! I remember this problem, too. It happened
on an app that was converted from DOS to Windows. If the
DOS form had the 'old' method of justifying a field (say,
a [>] in the format mask field) it seemed to conflict with
choosing the justification in Windows. Forms that worked
at one time in Windows would sporadically not 'show' the
data. Remove the justification format mask in the properties
and the problem went away. Boy, it took a while for me to
find that one!

If so, I have seen this before. When I opened a table and then click on sort the grid is there but the data disappears. Try sorting the data at the R>
