Somewhere in the in-line releases there was a change in policy. Previously, if you had a single-user copy of the software you could issue multiple connections to a database from your same workstation. In fact, you could issue multiple connections from multiple workstations -- the single user issue was on the honor system. In newer releases, if you have a single-user copy of R:Base, you cannot SET MULTI ON and cannot connect to a database open by anyone else (whether RBWin, RBDos, or Oterro). So, if the copy you have is licensed for single user use (even if the other users are using a different, multi-user copy) and the problem occurred in conjunction with a recent inline patch, then this might be the issue. -- Larry __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
