I do have to say that my boss is interested in having a portable way of
doing an inventory count/update. We also need to put a PC in place that
will a place where people taking things in and out of the stock room can
just quickly scan something in and out.

Someelse on this list had suggested a portable unit that was about
1500 dollars, and I looked at it at that point, but it's really too
much for what we need. We need to stay more simplictic, and definitly
less in price.
