Bernie,
  Google rnbovdd.dll.  Has to do with acrobat.  I don't see what this has to do with 
RBase except I
would look at the stuff that is started automatically when windows is initialized and 
stop acrobat
from being a part of the startup.  After you get it up, I would remove acrobat and 
reinstall it.
