Either name is ok.  The Pen Drive (that's it's trademark name) came with both a little loop built in and a lanyard that is easily attached to the loop. I used to carry it on my keychain but but once the loop broke and I dropped it and drove over it before I noticed it. How did you attach the string to the drive? Mine is more like a stick (only 32 MB), I try to carry it in my pocket, but I'm afraid it might get lost when I put my hand in and out of my pocket. If I put it in my briefcase, I always have to spend time fishing for it.  A string around the neck sounds like a good idea, but there is nothing to attach it to.  do they have carrying cases for these things?   Bernie Lis
