Hi Guys,

The Wall Street Journal had an article today on a wrist watch with 256MB memory that you hooked up to a USB port and served the same function, a portable data storage.  I used to be stuck carrying a Zip disk, and before that reels and cartridges of tape, around in my brief case.  Anybody remember the cartrifile?  Dick Tracy must be enjoying himself now.  I wonder what he's using these days.

Either name is ok.  The Pen Drive (that's it's trademark name) came with both a little loop built in and a lanyard that is easily attached to the loop. I used to carry it on my keychain but but once the loop broke and I dropped it and drove over it before I noticed it. Fortunately they've gotten pretty cheap.  I got my last one at Radio Shack.

5. copies it to my pen drive (a 64 meg hard drive that I wear around my neck on the way home)
These are great things for taking mod's to the customer, I used to use a zip disk or a laptop.

How did you attach the string to the drive?
Mine is more like a stick (only 32 MB), I try to carry it in my pocket, but I'm afraid it might get lost when I put my hand in and out of my pocket.
If I put it in my briefcase, I always have to spend time fishing for it.  A string around the neck sounds like a good idea, but there is nothing to attach it to.  do they have carrying cases for these things?
