Did you try to give your printer a ShareName and try printing to it via the ShareName.
 The Printer
Redirect shouldn't care where the printer is physically attached.

This is a neat program for printing from DOS to a USB printer:
http://www.dsbglobal.com/dosprinter/
It even has a 30 day Free Download for testing.

Thanks for the link ....
I downloaded DosPrinter and did try it.
Seems fine, but .... it is not what I am looking for !
DosPrinter prints TXT files.

All I want is redirect DOS printing from LPT1 port to a local USB printer
without changing my RB 4.5++ code (OUTPUT PRINTER).

I thougth it was easy .... but it seems harder than expected on a
standalone PC (not networked, because I can't use NET USE LPT1
\\Mycomputer\MyUSBSharedPrinter).

Any othe idea ?

TIA
