Just my two-cents... My favorite is Application Designer for menus because the .rba is all a user has to have on his/her desktop (and no access to the R> prompt!).
Drop-Down Menu Button Control is fabulous in that it extends the functionality of any form (not just menu forms). For instance, in my order form I have added a drop-down menu button for Customers (New, Edit) and one for Carriers (New, Edit, Check Insurance, Enter Insurance). The user no longer has to close the form to return to the main menu to do these tasks in the middle of processing an order!
