Steve,
It is simple enough to set up a demonstration of the behavior. Build a form with three fields. On the first field put an exit eep that skips to the third field. On the second field put an entry eep that does "pause 2 using 'field 2'. On the third field put an entry eep that does "pause 2 using 'field 3'. Run the form and observe that when you leave field 1 you will get the popup stating "field 3."

Emmitt, did you see what Ron (Rose) replied? His take, based on his read of the 5.5 doc's, indicates otherwise.
Bill, Sami, Razzak, Et Al., anyone care to elucidate/elaborate?
Thanks,
Steve in Memphis

- That is, if there is a field-level EEP that executes on exit from the field, and that field is "on the path" to the SKIP-target, would this cause a problem? Fundamentally, when a SKIP executes, does it actually "hop" from field to field as it goes, or does it "hop" directly to the target?
- Steve in Memphis,
- In an exit eep on a field, the SKIP TO and SKIP n commands move directly to the specified target and do not move "through" any fields in the tab order in between. That is, it is a "jump."
