I have created a command file that will not compile properly.
I have R:Styled the command file and it executes perfectly as an ASCII command file.
However, when I try to Codelock the file it goes through the motions but the Codelocked
file is extremely small and will not execute at all.
I know it is not my copy of R:Base because I tried Codelocking other command and
procedure files without any problems.
Could there be some control characters in the file that prevent it from Codelocking?
If so, then how do I locate these control characters and remove them?
Can someone offer any suggestions as to what I might do to get this command file to
Codelock?
Rick,
00. What Version and Build of R:BASE are you using?
01. Does that command file work in its entirety?
02. Have you TRACEd the command? Any -ERRORs-
03. What happens when you try the Codelock procedure at the
Command Prompt:Example:
CODELOCK 1 AsciiFileName BackupFileName BinaryFileName
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
