On my XP system, when
I run 5.5 DOS and 6.5++ DOS and press Alt-Enter it switches to real full
screen.

- If you are running the DOS version in a Window, it will not
blink. If you press ALT-ENTER to make it full screen you will see it
blink. It's a Windows vs. DOS thing...
