Here is what I do to get a Full DOS Screen in W2k and XP

1. On the Desktop shortcut, right-click and then left-click on the
   properties menu.
2. Click on the Misc tab and remover the check for Allow Screen Saver
3. Click on the Screen tab and choose Window to start up RBase at first
4. Click Apply - and OK to save settings, now Double-click shortcut to
   start RBase in a Window.
5. Once Rbase is up, left or right click on the C:\ Icon in the top left corner
6. If running W2k click the Misc tab. Uncheck QuickEdit in Mouse frame, in XP
this is unchecked as default. (Boo-Boo my MS on W2k).
7. Go to the Options tab and in the Display Options frame click the Full Screen
   option
8. You will get prompted by an Apply Properties dialog. Click the Save
properties for future windows with same title option and then OK.
9. This will bring you to a full screen. Immediatly exit RBase and then
right-click on the desktop Icon and choose properties.
10.Go to the Screen tab and then click Full-Screen under the Usage frame, and
   OK.

Stephen,

All I can tell you is that when I do the Alt-Enter on XP here, my screen blanks and then I get an 80x25 full screen text display just as if I was running DOS.

[Stephen Breen] Emmitt, I knew this was to easy. You get a full screen but it is minimized. It is only about one third the size as our normal screen
positioned in the center. Steve On my XP system, when I run 5.5 DOS and 6.5++ DOS and press
Alt-Enter it switches to real full screen.

full screen size windows for Rbase. This is interesting. Hum Steve

Steve - If you are running the DOS version in a Window, it will not
blink. If you press ALT-ENTER to make it full screen you
will see it blink. It's a Windows vs. DOS thing... Sami -----------------------------------------------------------------

We are using the latest build 866 and the column blink
function will not work in a form. Any comments or suggestions? Stephen Breen CDI Services, Inc.
