Please review the legacy database upgrade path at the following link:

You can use the Manual Tools path on the right side. The exe's
mentioned are located in your default R:BASE 6.5++ Windows
directory of: "C:\RBTI\RBWin65\Convert"

Believe it or not, I have stumbled across a Credit Union that is
still using an Rbase 3.1 (or maybe 4) application written circa 1990
on a daily basis!

Anyway, looks like the original developer died.

In order to help them, I need to connect / convert this database into
RB Win6.5++ (Windows) so that I can assist them in generating
the 1099's that are due in two (2) days!!
What process do I need to perform in order to convert a copy of their
database files:
{dbname1}.rbf
{dbname2}.rbf
{dbname3).rbf
- to -
{dbname}.rb1/rb2/rb3/rb4
Once in this format, I already have a functional report format for printing
on the pre-printed forms.
Any info on this subject would be helpful and downright educational!
