Razzak,

I am running R:Base v6.1 (DOS), Build 6.1x038F.  Five user Lan Pack installed.

I was running an application on a Windows 98 computer and was connected to the applications database.

The application locked down and I had to use the Windows Task Manager to end the task.

When I tried to re-connect to the database it gave me the error message - "Unable To Connect Database".

I then tried to re-connect in multi-user mode and received the error message - "The Database Is Currently Unavailable -- it is probably open with Multi set off".

I then used the RBADMIN utility to remove all users and workstations from the SERVER6.RBG file.  I was able to remove all users but still was unable to re-connect to the database.

I also tried to delete the database from a DOS prompt and it returned the error message - "Access Denied".

I have a backup copy of the database.  Therefore, can you provide me with any suggestions for either re-connecting to the database or deleting the database?

Regards,

Rick Brown
