Platform: R:BASE 7.1 for Windows Build: 7.1.71.303xx and higher Pursuing the goal of providing our loyal and dedicated R:BASE Users/Developers with the tools they need to compete, develop and deploy applications with boundless possibilities at a fraction of the cost and development time when compared to other databases and development tools available, a few new controls have been added in R:BASE 7.1 for Windows Form Designer.
The Additional Controls in Form Designer now includes a new Enhanced Tab control to add yet another option to design and deploy cool menu-driven applications.
The Enhanced Page Control does not wrap around the functionality of the Windows Common Page Control. Each tab has an associated page on which controls can be placed so they will only be shown when the associated tab is selected. Each of the individual pages can be selected at design-time. The Enhanced Page Control offers many more display options than the standard Tab Control. In particular, there are four styles of tabs to choose from by using the Tab Style property. Plus, there are options to change the colors of the tabs using the Tab Colors. Tab text is controlled by the Text Alignment, Text Alignment Vertical, Text Colors, and Text Orientation properties. Images from an image list can be displayed on tabs using the Images, Image Alignment, Image Alignment Vertical, Image Margin, Image Position properties and Component ID.
