Bill,

Thanks for the heads up.

Did you get my email that I sent to you and Chuck about the multi threading
issue?

Chuck responded and said he was moving his major app to MS SQL. I don't want
to abandon R:Base. I have used them for 20 years and I like their product.

Below is the number of times my sites have went down in the last few days:

Today 8 so far
Sunday 3
Saturday 2
Friday 2

I am using the persistent restart model that Mike put together to keep them
going.

I have also had another problem that I am emailing you, Chuck and Mike. I
think it may be related.

You may recall that I am having problems with DBMS updates with an
apostrophe contained within the field. I sent this to Razaak 3 weeks ago
with a follow-up. Would you mind if I put together a small db, taf and
example and emailed to you. You seem to have better luck on getting these
situations resolved and know the right people to send them to.

Thanks

Once again, quick turnaround by RBTI!

I emailed oterro Log files and an explanation of this problem to RBTI on
Thursday or Friday. This morning, I saw the proof that the problem I
described with SQL_MAX_ROWS has been fixed, and the fix will be in the
official release of Oterro 3.0, "Real Soon Now."

It's amazing how well and how quickly things like this get repaired. All we
have to do is document the problem in such a way that the development team
can replicate the problem.
