Thanks all for the suggestions

My code does a Disc, autochk, if OK ...

This was running on a dedicated server but they took
the computer home and reloaded Windows, I am not sure
which version.

So, now he is the only ueser. I have him do a unload
to a file and send it to me. It quit in the middle of
a Rule.

He says he can con to the db and get into forms. It
is just when he reloads something strange happens.

My code autochks the db then makes a extra copy of the
RB* files if no errors. If another user is connected
that code is skipped. Well, thay say they haven't
seen the prompt for 2 months and that's is their last
good back up.

It seems 2 months ago someting went wrong but they
never thought to call and ask.

I heard 5 planets are lining up and the last time that
happened was 30 yrs ago. Could that be a factor?
