I haven't used 6.5 for ages!!!

I am using 6.5++ build 1.866xRT03
it is running on a dual processor pentium
Windows XP Pro SP 2 up to date with all patches

I issue the following commands:

set var vTmp = (CVAL('Drives'))
wri .vTmp

The result I get is:
aCDEFHIMNQRUVXYZ
