Hi All,

Converting RB6.5++ applications I have run into a couple of problems that are
causing time to go flying by ...

1. Conversion of multi table forms. When used the converted forms with the
"Edit using ..." or "Enter using ..." the focus wants to jump to the second
table. This causes all kinds of error messages if the first table has required
fields. Setting the form to one-to-many or many-to-many does not make a
difference. Recreating the form works fine (but who wants to recreate all the
forms). This has been replicated on at least two completely different
conversions.

2. Pop-up menus in forms no longer seem to work with integer return values.
If the lookup return column is an integer, and the column with the Pop-up is an
integer, the menu of values will display. When an option is chosen, any lookup
variables based returned value will display the correct value as if the return
value had been placed into the pop-up filed -- but the pop-up field displays as
if no new data was entered. When the focus is moved to the next field, any
variable lookups based on the pop-up value vanish. No new information is
stored in the field. Numbers manually entered into the field are saved and
lookups based on it work fine. Everything works except the integer does not
seem to get fully placed into the field. Text value pop-up menus configured
exactly the same way work fine. This seems to occur in converted and newly
created forms.

Anyone encounter similar problems (have solutions???)

Thanks,
Michael
