That did it. Thanks to you and and the others who
responded.
The problem is M$ speak. The full heading for the
check box is: "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened
that could potentially be a virus." Unreal. These are outgoing
attachments, not incoming attachments. They have already been
saved as well as opened. This is nuts.
It gets stranger. About half an hour after I sent
messages to the list servers about this, OE spontaneously sent
off the emails it had earlier refused to send. Too wierd.
