The trick was to make the lines per page one less than what it should be.  It was always 59 for portrait, and I think it was 42 or 44 for landscape.

Ancient question from ancient programmer.
RBase for DOS (system V)

Printing legal size paper in landscape mode and always get a blank page between each page. (Also in condensed print and 8 lines per inch). Where you set lines per pages, was there a trick to make it zero or 999 to get around this? The "right" setting should be 60 with the maximum 68 for 8.5 inches(???)
