Still not quite finished with this printing problem.

Anyone know why a report would work fine on an HP inkjet (legal/landscape) but:

"
Our Brother HL-5140 did not work, the reports are off the edge a little"

I'm thinking there may be a native mode and HP emulation mode???

Thanks,

Dennis

The trick was to make the lines per page one less than what it should be.  It was always 59 for portrait, and I think it was 42 or 44 for landscape.

Ancient question from ancient programmer.
RBase for DOS (system V)

Printing legal size paper in landscape mode and always get a blank page between each page. (Also in condensed print and 8 lines per inch). Where you set lines per pages, was there a trick to make it zero or 999 to get around this? The "right" setting should be 60 with the maximum 68 for 8.5 inches(???)

TIA,

Dennis
