Yep, i suspect that WU has caused the problem.
Problem is, it is so spratic that one could not turn in a bug report if they wanted.

If I'm lucky, it will go away with another WU.

Dennis -

I'm not currently using that product, but an M$
update caused problem was my first thought.  My most recent
updates have caused the following (Win 2K): If the floppy
drive is used at any time after the machine is booted,
every time a new page is accessed in MSIE the floppy drive
is activated for some sort of check.  This continues until
the machine is rebooted.

Nope but there is something funkiny about one of the windows updates I gather.
Does yours do it every time? Mine is not repeatable, happens randomly.

I have been having that problem when I use the GATEWAY Function.  It just started this week, and when it happens, my data doesn't get uploaded.  This seems rather odd.  Could it have to do with 6/6/06?

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem

I'm runnning RBDOS 6.5++  on several XP Pro computers.
The users open several windows at a time.  This awesome functionallity is critical to ur operation.
This has always worked great, especially on XP.

Lately, sometime an RBDOS window will close on it's own.
Several users have reported the problem and I have had it happen to me.
