Are they being reconnected to the db when they start work again?   If someone has changed a saved setting in the db they would inherit that.   That is whay EVERY time I connect to a db I refrresh the correct setting. I am not sure; since it is a setting that is stored with the database, I imagine that if one workstation changes the settings, it could reflect on the other workstations. It would be easy to test by logging with two sessions to a database, change the setting on one workstation and see if the setting is changed in the other. Certainly, it would change the setting for any that logs after the change but I am not sure if it changes the setting for the ones that are already logged in. My father is scheduled to be in town for a visit for the weekend of the training; I am trying to re-schedule him for the weekend after so I can attend the training myself. But I don't think even that would explain the fact that they claim they are sitting in the application, never exiting because they generally leave it up for the entire day, and it changes WHILE they're just sitting there.  A stray rbase.cfg wouldn't change the settings while they're connected to the database!  Right?
