Are they being reconnected to the db when they start work
again?
If someone has changed a saved setting in the db they would inherit
that.
That is whay EVERY time I connect to a db I refrresh the correct
setting.
I
never fall into this trap.

wouldn't change the settings while they're connected to the database!
Right? I am not sure; since it
is a setting that is stored with the database, I imagine that if one workstation
changes the settings, it could reflect on the other workstations. It would be
easy to test by logging with two sessions to a database, change the setting on
one workstation and see if the setting is
changed in the other. Certainly, it would change the setting for any that logs
after the change but I am not sure if it changes the setting for the ones that
are already logged in. My
father is scheduled to be in town for a visit for the weekend of the training; I
am trying to re-schedule him for the weekend after so I can attend the training
myself. Javier, Javier
