Well, it looks like we experienced another mind-expanding R:BASE Developers
Conference in Pennsylvania again this year!

As co-emcee with Bill Downall and Dawn Oakes (last year's Developer of the
Year), I'd like to thank Razzak and RBTI for all the hard work they have put
into the conference AND the exciting new products that are now available
from R:BASE Technologies. The Dream Team is certainly deserving of that
"Dream Team" title! We're all looking forward to getting our hands on the
enhancements and new features in R:BASE 7.6, Client Server, and more.

I'd like to extend a hearty congratulations to Emmitt Dove with Blue Ridge
Paper Products on his achievement of the R:BASE Developer of the Year award
- it was a well-deserved honor and I look forward to welcoming him as our
co-emcee next year.

If you were not at the conference and have not read the extensive list of
presentations this year, log onto
http://www.rbase.com/conference/schedule2006.pdf and see just what you
missed! Thank you to all presenters for their time, their effort, and
especially, their expertise in sharing their skills with the rest of us.

As many of you know, the theme this year revolved around C H O C O L A T E !
! ! We had chocolate to eat, drink, dip, bid on, and win. Our complexions
and waistlines may have suffered a bit, but it was a fun way to help raise
over $1,400 for Salvation Army's Project Bundle-Up. These funds will be
matched by RBTI for a net donation of almost $3,000. Thank you to all who
brought items for auction or who generously purchased items during the
auction. AND if you were not at the conference but would like to make a
donation, you may still do so by sending a check (made payable to "Salvation
Army Project Bundle-Up") to the RBTI office. That way you will be sure that
RBTI can include your donation in their matching funds. Thank you to
Claudine Robbins and Adriana Montano for their expertise in making this
fundraiser so successful.

There are so many people who make these conferences run so smoothly - and
I'd like to express our gratitude to:
        Ken Shapiro - photos
Alex Gawaresky - caffeine at the midnight session
Stuart Cohen - pizza at the midnight session
        Tom Eldred - ride matching
Bob Thompson - guitar pickin' and auctioneering

More than 25 Authorized Developers attended a highly productive planning
session and received copies of the new R:BASE multi-color brochure which
will be mailed to registered R:BASE users.

If you were not able to attend the conference, you can still purchase the
presenters' CD along with this year's R:BASE Memorabilia. Contact R:BASE
Technologies directly at 724-733-0053 or mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
for more information.

See you all next year!

Sami Aaron
