It looks great.
You wouldn't expect any less from the R:Dream Team! Remember, this is not your grandfather's Oldsmobile.
If I understand well. All database activities are executed on the server and not on the client ?
That's very correct.
With existing R:BASE, R:Runtime and R:Compiler all is executed on the client.
Correct!
Will there be Client runtime or compiler or will the R:Runtime and R:Compiler support C/S server connections?
There is no need to use R:Compiler or Runtime in a C/S:I environment. When setting up the database/application on the R:BASE Server, you would limit the client access at this point. Non C/S:I versions of R:BASE Clients, such as R:Compiler 7.6 or Runtime 7.6 or even the regular version of R:BASE 7.6, will CONNECT to the same database, however the I/O and the speed in which R:BASE C/S:I is intended for, would be compromised. We do not recommend mixing the versions in a C/S:I environment. The BEST is yet to come! Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
